Press Release: For Immediate Release from the KWHA

The Kentucky Walking Horse Association Board of Directors held a meeting on Sunday, October 12, 2008 in Lexington, Kentucky. President Earl Rogers, Jr. and 1st Vice- President Gary Oliver addressed the Board and voluntarily stepped down as officers of the Kentucky Walking Horse Association. 2nd Vice-President Joe Herald will serve as President for the remainder of 2008.

The Board was excited as discussion took place about the plans for the Annual Meeting and the celebration of a great year for the Kentucky Walking Horse Association and the walking horse industry.

The Tom Vest Relief Raffle

The relief raffle will be selling Raffle Tickets to be drawn on November 15th at The Morehead State Cheerleading Fall Round Up Show in Morehead, Ky. Mr. Tom Vest and his family will be there to do the drawing.
