TO ALL KWHA LADIES AUXILIARY MEMBERS

 

 We hope to provide information to both auxiliary members and other interested parties pertaining to the current and future events of the Ladies Auxiliary.

Our Objective: To assist and promote the Kentucky Walking Horse Association in the promotion of the Tennessee Walking Horse, and to provide a vehicle for benevolent, philanthropic, and educational assistance to those in the Walking Horse industry and including but not limited to:

  1. Crisis assistance for trainers, owners and their families in case of illness or tragedy.
  2. Educational assistance to young people who (a) have been active in the care and exhibiting of the walking horse regardless of chosen profession, and/or (b) desire to enter a career related to the horse industry generally or the walking horse industry specifically.
  3. Research support for the benefit of the walking horse industry.
  4. Financial assistance to programs which incorporate equine activities into the training and development of the handicapped and/or underprivileged.
